I was so excited when I heard this store was opening. I am at Starbucks 5 days out of the week and this is very close to my house. On multiple occasions since their opening, I have overheard (as well as other customers) the baristas complaining about what their customers order through the drive through, particularly fraps! I get that fraps take longer to make and are more involved but that doesn't excuse the behavior.
In college I had friends that worked at Starbucks where the demand for drinks has not changed much since then. They would have not complained in front of customers. Unfortunately for this store, I had one of these individuals in the car where she overheard the baristas complaining herself! She actually made a comment through the window where no apology was made for the rude comments whether they were directed at us or not.
It's sad when your neighbor also comments on the service at this store. I think I'm going to wait until the dust settles here. Maybe they will hire more experienced baristas who are happy to be at work and happy to help even when things get stressful.
I am not typically the type to write up a review or complain... But this has happened on too many occasions to ignore. I would be happy to turn this review around and give 5 stars when the staff starts caring about their jobs, themselves (attitude)and their customers.
