  • I don't know what to say about the negative comments regarding "shady billing". I don't use my insurance, I only pay cash and I have yet to find anyone less expensive to help me deal with my personal issues. Dr Erik Wagner is great. As a matter of fact he basically saw me twice and gave me a review of my labs before I ever got charged for my initial visit. If they are "over biling" insurance that is between them and the agreement they have with the insurance company (believe it or not I think your insurance company is big enough to protect itself against "over billing", I mean do you honestly think they are giving your insurance company a "HOLY SH*T!" moment when they get the bill? Probably not. Most Dr's close to me were going to charge me WAY more than what Dr Wagner does. My treatment with offices closest to me were going to cost about $3,000 a year out of my pocket, my cost with Dr Wagner is maybe going to be $400 a year plus the cost of medication, on which he saves me money on that too. I travel MILES out of my way to come to this office specifically. Backfit even has a Phoenix location that is much closer to me but Dr Wager gets and understands the issues I am dealing with and treats me with respect. For that I am happy to drive past all the more convenient practices to come see him and the people here.
