| - I was here for the Legendary Haunt Tour in November 2016. I've heard about this haunt and I finally got to experience the haunt first hand.
Let me just say this, "Best freaking haunt ever!!!!" Top-notch scares, very immersive, very long haunt, scares from everywhere, very detailed sets, scare actors very point, very intense scares, and just overall a top haunted house in my book.
Since it was a special occasion tour, the haunt offered us a lot of free treats. Thank you everyone.
I won't spoil the haunt for you, but I'll cover some basic highlights. The haunt has various themed scenes throughout the haunt. There is no one story-line throughout the haunt. You will encounter a lot of story-lines within. Take your time to appreciate the haunt, look at the scene details, and prepare for the scares.
My favorite scenes in the house: Halloween House and the Bayou. These areas very felt like I was in the immersive themed area. The Halloween House was a traditional house with pumpkins, monsters, witches, and a classic Halloween touch. The Bayou was filled with waterfalls, voodoo, and a lot of awesome props.
My very least favorite theme was the Space experience. This whole set was a huge let down and did not deliver for me. The actors that night were not impressive or the sets were kinda boring. From experiencing high factors of sets and scares in the beginning, this whole area fell flat to me. I love space and aliens, but this area was not that great.
My favorite prop I've ever scene was the pumpkin face woman. To be honest, my haunt character I played in my last haunt job (Killer Clown at Howl O Scream in Tampa) kept telling guest that he loved to crave pumpkin faces out of people. The thought came to my mind from no where. Then I when I saw this prop, I couldn't believe my far fetch scary saying was true. It was disturbing.
Another favorite experience of mine in the haunt was the elevator in the beginning. It was very well done, scary, and mind-blowing. I want to say thank-you to everyone who worked that haunt for the Legendary Haunt Tour guest. We also got a lights-on tour after our walk-through experience.
This haunt is a true mastery of a current haunted house experience today. I want to come back to Pittsburgh just for this haunt because it was totally awesome. Very well done.
