| - I was expecting so much more. It was well over an hour wait for me to eat... for 1. On my way to be seated, I see a bar, where I could have been seated but wasn't. I got the 4 top. ?? While waiting I drank at the bar and dance club part. Half the place was roped off, so it appeared to be packed, but because most of the space was dance floor and no one would venture there, and half the bar space was blocked off... It appeared to be very busy. Bartender would take my empty beer bit not offer to refill.
The line dance lesson was 10 minutes. 1 dance instruction and the run through.
Let me move onto the food and service. I told my waitress, "Alex", my drink order 3 times before she got that right. She gave me directions to the men's room, and then the food... to her credit, she did tell me to order the pulled pork. But I didn't want bbq pork. I wanted to taste my meat. So I order brisket. It is nearly inedible. There are chunks of fat on it. The French fries have no flavor or seasoning, seriously. Not 1 drop of anything. So if you like that, have at it. I could make the same at home with frozen fries and an oven. The bread was a poor choice for the bread since it took a fork and knife to pick up and after 1 bite, the bread fell apart.
So, as in trying to choke down my worthless $35 meal and write this, I hope you go to Gillys with your expectations low. This bar has chicks in bikinis and chaps. There ya go. That's all it has.
