  • I went to Pudding Yarn for the first time last week. I'd always meant to pop in and see what they had for sale. I was really pleasantly surprised! They have the best selection of fine yarns I've seen in Calgary, including Spud & Chloe, Noro, Debbie Bliss, Cascade, Misti, and Koigu. A veritable rainbow of beautiful yarn awaits you here, and plenty of it. The store itself is small, but that's not unexpected for a yarn store, and it's well-presented. I also picked up a pair of handmade Lantern Moon needles, they are fabulous. I went in expecting to get some Koigu and came out with a similar yarn in different colours because I fell in love with it. The lady who helped us (I suspect she was the owner) gave some welcome assistance in narrowing down our colour choices, and pointed us towards yarns that we could substitute for a pattern so that we had options. She was great. I have found the place in Calgary I'm going to go to for all of my yarn needs! If you haven't had the chance, check it out, you won't be disappointed. It's worth driving a little further in from the 'burbs.
