I should start with the fact that I've been using Jiffy Lube for many years. I needed an oil change so I looked online to find the hours of my local Jiffy Lube. It stated that they opened at 8:30 a.m. so I got there at 8:15 a.m. to be the first one in line. When they had not opened at 8:35 a.m. I decided to look at the hours on the door. The hours decal on the door confirmed that they were to open at 8:30. After another five minute wait with the doors not opening I decided to call the location. The person that answered the phone informed me that they open at 9 a.m. . When I told him the website says they open at 8:30 his only response was well when I look online it says 9 a.m. . I then informed him that the decal on his door says 8:30 a.m. to which he had no clever comment. So I decided to call customer service. After a 30 minute wait and listening to the fact that I should use the email option express my displeasure more than 30 times I decided that's the way I should go. I receive an email from Jiffy Lube corporate customer service informing me that it's a franchise location and someone from the franchisee would get a hold of me. An operations manager from the franchisee called me and informed me that he would order a new hours of operation decal. Not even as much as an apology for my time wasted. Hi then emailed Jiffy Lube customer service again to inform them of the resolution. No response what a surprise. My last oil change at this location cost in excess of $110 and in my life I've spent easily in excess of $3,000. As I write this I am waiting for my oil change at Sun Devil Auto that will cost $19.95. The coupon for that is available on their website any day any time. I would implore anybody reading this to consider where they spend their money. If nothing else call Jiffy Lube customer service prior to an oil change from them. That should cure you of your desire to provide them business. I am happy to say I have spent my last dollar at Jiffy Lube.
