Zero stars... Stayed here last month for one Sunday night after my mother-in-law's funeral before returning to San Diego. Aside from one of the most overpriced and unimpressive patio rooms ever, we experienced an issue with some of the trashy contractors working there. My wife had called the front desk about another issue with the broken air conditioning and then mentioned the incident (my wife probably wouldn't have told me until later but brought it up to the manager over the phone). My wife added during her call that a few of the trash-tractors 'catcalled' her as she was walking through the halls alone, prior to our checkout. The manager on duty offered a free breakfast which obviously we declined. Pathetic.
I was furious but held back from confronting these sad losers because it was obvious that me vs. 3-4 wouldn't go well for me. Even though, given my background in boxing and unorganized street bouts, I know I would've knocked at least one of them out, no problem.
I tracked down the GM once we arrived back in San Diego. The GM, Jeff, was apologetic but I heard nothing back from the actual contractor manager who was apparently made aware of this incident. Jeff and I had about three phone calls and in the end he had offered to 'adjust my bill.' Not even a refund and perhaps some points towards a stay somewhere else. That would've been a reasonable and genuine way to smooth things out.
Needless to say we've taken things into our own hands and will be proceeding as we are advised.
