The location use to be my favorite Wal-Mart to shop with my family. I had an incident with a cashier named Patty. I was not aware that my cc with a chip now requires a pin. My other chip enabled cc doesn't requires a pin. I asked Patty if she could give me a couple minutes to call the bank, so I can create a pin. There wasn't customers in the line, so I got on the phone and called. Patty mentioned the card was canceled by the cardholder. I didn't take the card out of the card reader or canceled the card. I also asked again for patience because I used the same card earlier with the chip reader with no problems. She got upset and mentioned, " How are you going to pay for your things? I asked if she could call a mgr and she mentioned , "They are busy and will not come for this. There is one customer now behind me and she's being disrespectful toward my husband and I. The mgr Wendy showed up and didn't listen to anything I had to say. She finally mentioned that Wal-Mart updated their system. I used another cc with a chip reader and had no issues. All of this could have been handled respectfully, if she learn patience and respect. Hopefully, an elderly person will not get in Patty's line. Nasty attitude and trust karma will come back and bite a person the same way. These are the same
