I love Ritter's. The fried green tomatoes are my favorite. And judging from the very long lines on the weekend, I am not alone in my love of this place.
Yes, it is a million years old inside and out, and so are the waitresses. There are 3 or 4 waitresses and they share as many teeth. But this place is old Pittsburgh and you gotta love it. The food is good, not amazing...unless you're drunk. Then it is f---ing fantastic.
As per Pittsburgh standards, even bad food is pretty good if served in large quantities. You won't leave Ritter's hungry. You may leave with an infection or rash, but you won't leave hungry.
