  • I am a long time, faithful friend of La Pinatas. La Pinata has been a source of comfort through the good times and bad times in my life. I have rabidly encourage friend and foe alike to make the venture to the dump that is 19th Avenue and Osborn and brave the wild flora and fauna that is the neighborhood to get the La Pinata. Why? The food is the BEST! I have never received bad service. I have been eating here for 14 years (Holy cow! I can't believe it's been THAT long!) now and I have never eaten a bad meal here. My old standby: Chicken Yucatan with Jalapeno cream cheese. The yucatan is basically a chimichanga, smothered with ranchero sauce and queso con espinaca. De-freaking-licious. Served with beans and rice. Your choice of sour cream or jalapeno cream cheese. Get the cream cheese. You will never regret it. I have never been a fan of their chips and salsa but frankly, I am there for the plate of gluttony!
