  • Expected more from this place, given the really high ratings. Service was good, but not great. When asking about cocktails, we got a lecture about which drinks a man could order, and which ones a woman could order. What? We got a platter to share with a variety of BBQ meat and tried a bit of everything. Everything was reasonably tasty, but nothing stood out. Head up to Lexington for MUCH better pulled/chopped pork, or find superior brisket/ribs in the Triangle or out in TN/Midwest. If this is the best Charlotte has to offer for BBQ, I'm left seriously unimpressed.
