  • I've been loving Pho in Toronto for decades and I've had the pleasure of trying many different places. As of 2016, Star King has won my #1 spot in Toronto. I have to admit that I was surprised by how good they are as they are way off the usual beaten Pho path and they are also a relatively new place. You'll find most people quoting other Pho restaurants such as Golden Turtle or Pho Hung as some of the best places in the city and while you would definitely be happy at the other places, Star King has upped their game. To get specific, the broth is top notch, but more importantly, I have never found a place that gives you more meat in the bowl than here and the service is quick and friendly as well. Prices are spot on as seems to be the standard everywhere in the city. I can't comment on their other dishes though. I will still visit the other top places in Toronto but Star King has happily claimed my personal #1 spot for Pho.
