So after a day hiking around Latta Plantation, I passed by this place on the way to the park and decided to stop in when I was going home and I glad I did stop.
The place is cute....and the dining area almost windowless.....(NOTE: can anyone tell me why most BBQ places in NC have either tiny windows or no windows at all??????) The bar is where I ate and was bright and had plenty of seating.
The bartender gave me a menu and I ordered a small BBQ plate with chips. Small was a lot of food and as for the chips...if you have someone with you just get 1 order as there are a ton of them and enough for two people to eat. I got the cajun chips though I couldn't tell the spice was on them.
The BBQ was very good and the Eastern sauce was even better. Throw in a few beers and this place would be 5 stars if they just had an outdoor eating area vs. just a place to smoke.
