  • I originally scheduled my appointment on their app for my oven that would not heat. I scheduled it for the following Friday, I never received a call to confirm that they even got my request, I got busy with work that following week that I didn't have a chance to reschedule. I got a call on the Friday that I was supposed to have my appointment and Rom said he was about 20 min away. Keep in mind I did not even have confirmation that my appointment was even scheduled. Rom ended up coming out, replacing the igniter that was about $300 and then saying "sorry, its actually another part that is out and now your broil does not even work" great, now I can't cook at all. He said the new part was going to be $500 and he would have it in about 2 days, he said that he would call me and let me know when it was in so we could schedule as soon as possible (I cook 6 nights a week) Well, a week went by and no call or text from Rom. I tried calling and texting with no return call or text. I finally called their office almost 2 weeks later and the woman said that the part was definitely in, but Rom was booked and would not be able to come until the following Friday. Making this whole process over 3 weeks. The following Wed my landlord called them just to verify that we were still scheduled for that Friday and that the part was in being that she had already paid for 75% of the total cost, the woman could not give her a straight answer about the appointment, nor could she tell her the status of the part (back order, arrival) after I had already been guaranteed that the part was in, my landlord got frustrated and ended up canceling the appointment. I scheduled and appointment on that Friday with Sears, they came out Monday and by this last Wed had my oven working good as new. He did mention that in his 30 years as an Appliance Technician, he had NEVER seen both valves out and that Rom had done something wrong, causing more parts and more cost to the whole service. This was an absolute terrible experience! I would never ever suggest this company to anyone. This kind of customer service is unacceptable! No calls, no communication, just leaving customers hy & dry with no answers at all. Communication is key, at least let me know what the heck is going on, the took $350 before ever even fixing the problem! Ridiculous!
