We visited Avanti for Valentine's Day dinner and I was very pleased! The reservation process through Open Table went smoothly and we were seated promptly at 5:00pm when we arrived. A special menu was available for the day and the restaurant was nicely decorated with roses and balloons while a pianist played in the corner. My fiancé and I started with the pasta trio and a bottle of Riesling while snacking on the buttered garlic bread. The wait staff gives you ample time to order and is willing to answer any questions along the way. Our entrees included tortellini with walnuts and chicken parmigiana- both of which were amazing. We ended our meal with crème brule which was the only downfall to the meal. It was obvious the kitchen was getting busier and half of our custard wasn't topped with sugar and melted and the other half seemed to be burned leaving a horrible taste in our mouth. The parking is very spotty so try and come early or have a later reservation once it dies down. Definitely recommend this place for authentic Italian!
