  • **FANTASTIC DINNER IN LAS VEGAS** ABOUT ====== Classic French brasserie experience offering traditional brasserie fare by Michael Mina. Located inside the Aria. AMBIANCE ========= Feels of dining at a Parisian café but with a modern craft kitchen. Dressy casual. FOOD ===== FOIE GRAS PARFAIT - $18 Ruby port gelée with grilled country bread was the highlight of the meal. Beautiful and high quality. The fluffy taste is unbelievably good. Can't stop thinking about it and came back the next day for it. RATING: 5/5 ESCARGOTS BARDOT - $18 These wild burgundy snails with toasted hazelnuts, chartreuse garlic butter and puff pastry shells were surprisingly different and wonderfully delicious. RATING: 4.5/5 BONE MARROW AU POIVRE - $17 The peppercorn-crusted bone marrow with burgundy onion jam and a side of grilled country bread was OK. Not as fatty and scrumptious as I would like. RATING: 3.5/5 MUSSELS MARINIÈRES* 29 These Prince Edward island mussels, in garlic butter, dolin vermouth, and tarragon were juicy and tasty. The warm baguettes came in handy for the broth. RATING: 4/5 MACARONI & MIMOLETTE GRATINÉE - $13 My least favorite dish. Not as traditional American as I would like, but it's French, so I get it. Not gooey. A bit on the dry side. RATING: 3/5 DESSERTS - $13 each ========= MILLE FEUILLE My favorite! Caramelized puff pastry layered with vanilla crème pâtissière. Classic and excellent. RATING: 5/5 CHOCOLATE MACARON French chocolate cookie with Valrhona chocolate mousse can be shared. It's big and very chocolatey. RATING: 4/5 CRÈME BRÛLÉE Vanilla bean custard and turbinado croquant were OK. Wasn't the best I've had, but solid. RATING: 3.5/5 BEVERAGE - ~$15 ========= CLASSIC VODKA MARTINI Done perfectly, thank you. RATING: 5/5 APEROL SPRITZ Also done perfectly. RATING: 5/5 PRO TIP ====== Look into their Everlasting Rosé during brunch for $20 (Saturday & Sunday | 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) Heard their Nutella Sticky Bun, Croissant Benedicts, and Hunter's Waffle were killers. OVERALL ======== One of my favorite dining experiences in Vegas. Good for groups and dates. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
