  • Brilliant! Love this Place, and although it's a bit of a haul to get to - if you want bulk, quality seafood - this is the place to go. If you've watched an episode of Jacques Cousteau's Ocean Adventures, and thought while watching, (and who hasn't??): "i'd like to try that, Purple-Faced Thai Monkey Fish, but where can I buy that in Toronto?" ...they probably have it at Seafood Depot! The only variable: Is it Fresh or Frozen. $30 for roughly a 3lb bag of (frozen) Black Tiger Shrimp is quite reasonable. Don't be put-off by the "Frozen" Part either - far superior to any frozen shrimp you'd buy at Loblaws, etc. Depending on size (small, to the size of your clenched fist) - you pay proportionality to that. Live Dungeness Crab? No Problem..they have it. Lobster? Tons of it. Baby Octopus Tentacles? Yep. Marlon, Swordfish, good selection of Fresh-Water fish as well....and tons of Italian/European treats. Brilliant considering the Selection and even the quality of the Frozen is above bar.
