Step into this polish grocery and take a gander at all the candies, snacks and Knick knacks as you walk past the sausage and meat counter. The lunch counter has gems of delicious polish food I'd imagine I'd feast on if we were in Poland, getting treated to a home cooked meal. The single-digit temperatures were conducive to craving hearty soups. we got the red and white borscht and both were delicious. The red borscht had delectable meat dumplings and a flavorful beet broth although it was a bit sweet for me, my hubby loved it. The white borscht had a white slightly sour broth and pieces of kielbasa. This is the borscht I preferred. We also got a kill Bossi platter that included a juicy delicious Kielbasa (good "snap" to the casing), three pierogies, and perfectly cooked and seasoned egg noodles - tender but not over cooked -- comfort food at its best. The potato and cheddar pierogie was great but I actually fell in love with the mushroom and kraut pierogie!
Customer service was excellent and you could tell that they took pride in what they served. They have enough room for about maybe 15 to 20 people in their simple seating area.
