  • YES! LOVE these food truck events NOT located in the downtown area! Myself and Yelpers Kaycee and Scott had a community commitee when it came to attacking these food trucks. We focused on the out of state trucks and shared bites. We arrived at 5 but the lot was already being flooded with people. Pro tip: Definitely show up before 5 to get to the trucks you really want to try! First stop was Tornado Potato, we had a jalapeno potato with cheese and chili. Yummy. Then we had some steak tacos which was aight, can't remember which food truck it was at. The line at Nom Nom was growing at this point so we waited in line. While waiting in line, parts of our party branched out and brought back food for the commitee to try. The burger we had from Pie N Burger was GOOD! Whatever the eff was the top 10 burger they said they had was delish and the pie was good too. I brought back some PB & J w/bacon from Biker Jim, I loved it. Also had the pork steam bun and tofu steam bun from The Chairman and that was legit as well. After about 3 other food truck visits while waiting in line at Nom Nom we were finally the ones to order. Scott had some chicken and beef sammiches and the beef was out of this world. I know i'm missing one more truck but we ended at Cool Haus, great great great ice cream sammiches. The cookies were so soft and the scoop of ice cream was huge! By this time, around 6:30-7:00 the lines at almost all of the food truck grew and I felt bad for peope waiting and waiting in line. Glad we got there early, but then we had to take off for the UNLV game.
