Ive always had such good luck at global pet foods with the staff being extremely helpful and courteous. On 2 separate occasions I have had really terrible experience at the Richmond Hill location. The first time I visited I was shopping for food for my 5 month old puppy at the time. Obviously I went in because I had no knowledge about the food and which brands were better and was hoping I'd get some insight on what is quality food. Unfortunately I was told that I don't know anything and am a terrible owner (isn't that why someone asks for help in the first place? Because they don't know?).
Anyways, just thought they were having a bad day or perhaps I was sensitive. Fast forward to a few months later, I'm shopping for food for my almost one year old dog now. My dog is a really picky eater and I haven't had much luck with finding something she likes. I bought a bag of food that I was going to return because she did not care for it. As their policy says, the food can be returned within 30 days of purchase. The lady and owner at the store had told me that I don't know what I'm doing and am a bad owner because I'm taking my vet's advice on the brand I'm going to feed my dog. Thank you, I will continue to be a bad owner because I think I'll continue to take my vet's advice.
