so for the price point and being in a great location on the strip, this place is ok. had it not been for the location, this place would've failed miserably long ago. prime location is what people want in Vegas and the linq delivers. other than that, they offer nothing but very slow elevators (my biggest pet peeve at a hotel) and a very confusing layout. I waited for the elevator for about 10 minutes before I decided to take the stairs. the stairs is packed because of all the people who figured out that the elevator rarely comes. there are a total of 6 elevators and they need more. Way more. thank God I was on the 3rd floor so it wasn't much walking.
I brought my dog with me to Vegas, and had the most difficult time finding the dog park. I asked a few employees on my long search, and all of them told me different directions. not only that, one man told me "I would walk you, but it's a far walk". okkkkk. when I ended up finding it, it wasn't actually a far walk so I don't know what the hell he was talking about but it's pretty hidden. I do however liked the gates for the dogs.
all the dealers were really friendly and nice. enjoyed gambling here (though they took all my money but that's all part of the game).
the rooms are clean and recently renovated (used to be a pretty ugly hotel called Imperial Palace). normal average Vegas hotel-- nothing fancy.
not much restaurant or clubbing or bar options here. but if you're looking for a place to stay, this shouldn't be a problem.
would I come back? the elevators really sucked but for the price and prime location, I'm certain I'll be back. I will however make sure I get a lower floor so the elevators are not an issue.
