| - I thought I liked my brows until I went to a professional salon!
I got my eyebrows microbladed last year and it was EXTREMELY painful and felt rushed. I was in and out of the room within an hour. I was not able to see the outline that was done before she started and when I was shown my brows, I was in too much pain to do any more. For some reason, I thought this was normal. I left the salon crying and extremely upset until I talked myself into thinking they weren't so bad (mostly because I knew there was nothing I could do). They faded, a lot. I was told this would happen, especially because of my oily skin and excessive bleeding during the procedure, but seeing as my appointment was during her visit in Miami, a touch up was not an option. As a result, after a few months, I had to start filling them again with makeup.
I decided to wait to make an appointment with Threaded Beauty for the following May (last week) because it would be cheaper than going anywhere else. I planned to dumb the heck out of my face before going in and was shaking from how nervous I was to endure the pain again! Nevertheless, I took days off of work and made my 3 hour drive to my appointment.
However, two hours before my appointment I received a text that Neezie had an "emergency" and had to cancel my appointment. I asked when I'd be able to reschedule and wasn't given any idea of when/where. I was sad, but understood. Until... at the exact time of my appointment I noticed Neezie on Snapchat, taking videos of her outfit in the mirror (of what, in my opinion, looked like a salon). Regardless of the fact, all weekend she snapped and posted about how much fun she was having at the beach etc. before and after my appointment. I even noticed that other clients were able to be seen. So why wasn't I?
I rescheduled with a licensed esthetician does permanent makeup and to my surprise, the procedure was painless. She took her type to mark up my brows and asked me if I liked them. She actually made me feel like I had a say in what was going to happen to my face, rather than rushing me. My eyebrows now look like HAIR and not straight lines all across the brow. The esthetician could see that WHOEVER did my microblading before went TOO DEEP and TOO FAST. Microblading is supposed to look like hair...not a picket fence.
In short, I deeply regret spending $500 at Threaded Beauty. They were careless with my brows and I didn't even know it until I saw a PROFESSIONAL. I would not wish the pain I went through during my time here on ANYONE.
