  • I took my cat here to get anti anxiety medication for the ride down to our new home in Arlington, VA, which is 4 hours away from Pittsburgh. My cat doesn't even do well on five minute car rides so this was absolutely necessary. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We were quickly taken back into a room within 5 minutes of our arrival at VCA. The vet tech was awesome and very understanding when my cat wasn't being very cooperative. He could tell my cat was anxious so he brought in a towel sprayed with a relaxing (for a cat) scent which was so nice of him to do! The vet was very gentle with my cat and actually got him to be still during his exam. We were there for a total of 20 minutes which included an update on his rabies vaccine and obtaining his script. They gave me samples of the relaxing spray as well as a cat care book which was unexpected but appreciated. I would definitely recommend taking your pet here for any needed care!
