| - I had low pressure cold air barely coming through our vents in to the house. I did my own basic troubleshooting, and decided to call a pro in to look at our ac unit. I called 2 other companies first, but both couldn't make it until a week out. I get it, it's Vegas, it's summer, and ac companies are busy. But with a newborn in the house I wasn't going to wait.
I looked at our Nextdoor app for recommendations, and I saw Polar. I called them after hours, Leo answered, told me if I had to shut down he'd be over that night otherwise a tech would be over in the morning.
They called me back first thing in the morning, and a tech showed up around 10:30am. Not only did they troubleshoot more, but showed me exactly what they were doing since I am a little tech savvy and understand what was going on.
Long story short. New capacitor and fan motor, and I'm up and running cool in the house again. Happy wife, happy baby, and happy dad.
