| - Sloan's is definitely a place that reminds me of Florida. Three of my old high school hangouts feature this ice cream parlor: Clematis Street, City Place, and Mizner Park. This location inside Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes has many of the same sweet treats, but you won't find Sloan's signature see-through bathrooms.
There's an ice cream flavor for any craving, from coffee and doughnuts to apple pie. For around $10, I got a sundae with three scoops, whipped cream, hot fudge, and a topping. The hot fudge was disappointing. Las Vegas's Luv It does this sundae staple much better. A Kitchen Sink brownie that looked good behind the glass may have been previously frozen. It would have been much better enjoyed fresh from the oven while the toppings were melted and gooey, rather than hard set. They also offer giant donuts from Donut Bar, caramel apples, fudge, and more. But, I'll only come here for the ice cream and a taste of Florida.
