  • My husband and I just went to Scarpetta the other night. The food, overall, was delicious. The service was ok. The bread didn't come out until the appetizers which is a huge pet peeve, but whatever. The big problem was the portion size. My tiny little turbot cost $38. My husband's chicken was half a breast at best. $250 later, we ended up going to Secret Pizza at the Cosmo for a slice after our dinner at Scarpetta. Secret Pizza, on the other hand, I highly recommend.
