  • I'm really sad that I have to update my review with a negative one. I feel that the hotel has gone down hill tremendously, not only in the upkeep, but also in the customer service area. When we checked in, Yosef seemed very nice. I mentioned that we have been frequent guests and he said that he would give us a great room. For the first time ever, we were put in the East Tower, which seemed like a good idea... why not try something new?!? Boy was that a mistake. We were on the 30th floor facing the nightclub. I understand that this is Vegas and it's not going to be quiet, but it was LOUD - painfully loud. Thanks a lot for putting us in the loud tower in a crappy room!!! My boyfriend was so annoyed that he called and asked to change rooms. We were on our way to a dinner reservation that night, so he asked if we could quickly swap rooms. Patrick, the man he spoke with, said he couldn't figure out how to switch the keys that fast. WHAT?!?! He said we had to be back by 10 pm or else we'd lose the second room. We had to rush back from our dinner at the Venetian, which frankly made us both really annoyed, to get the new room. As we were packing up, someone was banging on the door and trying to get into our room! Then we received a call from the front desk saying we needed to get out because they needed the room for someone else. This is NOT the way frequent guests should be treated! We moved to the same room on the 67th floor, which was still loud, but bearable. I didn't get much sleep at all during my stay. Why on earth does the music have to be THAT loud...? And, why can't they put in better windows that don't suck?!!? Both rooms were definitely not very clean and not up to the standard that the Cosmo used to have in the past. Sadly and needless to say, we are done with this hotel and will never stay here again.
