  • This place is amazing! I am a woman who has PCOS... therefore I have super sexy thick hair that grows out of my face. I was always confident and carefree until it started getting worse. My chin was always gray and you could see my 5 o'clock shadow at noon... I decided to give Waxing the City a try. I am so glad that I did! I walked in covering my face with a scarf and dark sunglasses like some Hollywood movie but left feeling like a million bucks!! You walk in and everyone is so sweet and friendly. The waiting area is very attractive- color scheme is fun, the seats are comfy, and the displays are well organized. Izzy came and introduced herself. We went to her room, which was clean, smelled nice and had a whole set up of different waxes. We discussed what I wanted waxed and she got to it. We chatted while she waxed my face. It did not hurt... let me repeat that IT DID NOT HURT. I have been getting waxed on and off since I was 13... this orange magic wax does not hurt. When she tweezed as you always have those stubborn ones, she was quick and efficient. She was sweet and caring and took my mind off of my embarrassment. For the fist time in a LONG time I had my confidence back! The price is reasonable, the staff is wonderful, parking is parking in Lawrenceville... I have found my new home and sanctuary! I've been shouting from the rooftops how WONDERFUL Waxing the City is!! THANK YOU!
