New year. New you. New vibes. New spot, it seems for me. This location is another one in my merry go round of gym jaunts. If you have the luxury to vary your workout times, come around lunch hours or kiss the morning hello kicking weights; otherwise, it is a zoo. Parking isn't bad, it's the getting there that can be an easy deterrent.
Looking for motivation? Just look around. The regulars will give you some friendly competition. The ladies all have booty game and the men should be on Ink Masters. Plenty of cardio machines with racquetball and basketball courts to up your BPM. There's one room for the yoga/Zumba classes and one for the spin classes. Generally, the weights/machines are organized easily to the target areas. As I mentioned, getting to the weights may be a fighting ring if you come during peak hours. With the taunting hills of South Mountain behind you, you can overachieve and hit the trails before or after your workout - your call. Overall, this is a place where confidence comes as the fat goes. Wake up. Work out. Look Hot. Kick some weights around.
