| - I was introduced to Buff Nails when I was in a bridemaid for my friend's wedding. We went as a group on a Friday during the summer. Buff Nails handled our group in a professional, yet fun manner. We went three at a time - three getting a pedicure while three getting a manicure, then we switched. We all got to chit chat and gossip while getting beautified! Ever since June of 2007, I have been going to Buff Nails frequently, either alone or with a girlfriend.
What I really like about this nail salon is that they don't do artificial nails so the salon doesn't reek of the bad toxics. What I also like is the price, it's not super expensive. For Buff Basic, it's $65 and takes about 30 minutes (drying time not included). This entails a soak, shape, scrub, massage and paint. My favorite is Buff Express for $10 and it's shape and polish or just a polish change for $6. They have a wide variety of colours but you are welcome to bring your own bottle.
I will let you in on a little tidbit of why I love Buff Nails. I was waiting to pay and saw that they had a contest to name their new summer polishes. I quickly came up with Raspberry Mojito for their bright pink polish and guess what??? I won!!! They chose the name I submitted and I won a free mani/pedi! When they called to tell me, I was shocked but it also made my day!
I would have given a rating of 5 stars but it's a tad out of the way, it's by St. Lawrence Market.
