Firstly, I love beer.
This is a Brewing Company that makes very average beer in a pretty cool location. If you like hoppy beers or IPAs you will likely be disappointed, and should just walk up Lee Rd a few blocks and go in ANY bar for a wider, better beer selection on tap.
They do have a very impressive mead selection, but this is a brewery, so what is with that?
However, it is a cool room and has an incredibly popular trivia night on Mondays. Hint: Don't go on Mondays unless you want to play trivia or stand and watch. They have cool board games you can play too, but got rid of their pinball machines long ago. Another star deduction. Pinball is all that.
I am consistently baffled after occasionally visiting this location ever since it opened years ago, still holding hope that they might put the adventure and talent behind the brewing process that is part of their moniker. There is always hope.
It's such a lost opportunity to have a very good location without any other breweries on the east side, yet not seizing it with mediocre suds. The bar itself is tiny, yet somehow proportional to the beer on tap.
