Gib's is a really neat little treasure right next to Grampa's Pizzeria. It was our first time there so we weren't sure what to expect. The fact that its in an old house gives it a very unique feel, but the first level seemed a bit snug the way the seating was. And the entry way was interesting with seats along each side, almost like a waiting area in a restaurant (no one was sitting in those). Surprised to learn there was also a bar upstairs, we headed up there to see what that was like. It felt a bit more spacious and the menu is slightly different than the one downstairs. The bartender did an amazing job fixing up some sort of mocktail for me because I'm pregnant - I didn't really even tell him what I like, I just let him go for it (and for only $3!). My husband had the Rye Old Fashioned and was happy with it, but we thought the glass seemed a tad small for the price. Our biggest "complaint" of this place would be the seating arrangements. Besides some stools up at the bar on the second level, all the seating areas are meant for groups. If two people are at a grouping of 5 chairs...it seems weird to encroach on their space and use some of those chairs, right? So we felt like we really didn't have a good place to go and ended up sitting at the bar, which wasn't terrible. We just would have preferred something a bit more intimate. Regardless, we'd come back!
