  • Very terrible customer service. I have gone to gentle dental since the start of 2016. The dentist and the hygienist were always very respectful and professional. My problems occur with scheduling and the front desk folks. During 2016 I had asked for an orthodontics consult for braces and I got the consult - the doctor said I would benefit from braces. The front office could not provide me a quote. It took several months to get a quote. I had originally asked them for a quote on invisaline, but they provided quotes for the regular braces. It took another several months to get the correct quote. By that time I grew tired of waiting for them. When I finished with my December 2016 appointment, I made my next cleaning appointment for April 2017 on a Saturday. The day prior to my appointment, I received a confirmation email and a text to remind me that my appointment was the next day. When I went in for the appointment on Saturday, ,there was no one at the office. I called the number they had on the door - as it indicated Saturday hours. I did not get anyone to answer so I left a message when prompted to do so. I assumed they would call me on Monday, but I never received a call. I called them on Wednesday wondering what happened and Taylor said that I must not have been notified that they only do limited hours on Saturdays now. She said that their next availability would be June 3rd. I was frustrated because that was 6 weeks out. Taylor also said that she would call if they got any sooner availability I never received a call. So on the days preceding my June 6th appointment, I again received a confirmation email and a text indicated the day and time of my appointment. I did not think that the mix up could happen twice, but it unfortunately did again. I went to the front door and everything was locked and there were no lights on. I was very upset. I called the door number and was able to talk with someone. They were apologetic, and said they would put me on a brief hold and call the office. They called the office and got no reply. They said they see that several other customers had appointments for that day also so she didn't know what was going on. I informed this individual that there were people waiting in their cars and watching me at the front door. When I walked away and approached my vehicle, they took of - it looked like other people had shown up for their appointments as well. I told the person on the phone that Gentle Dental had one less customer. Very, very unprofessional to cancel customers appointments and not tell the. If you offer Saturday hours - then honor them.
