Old-school, over-the-top good service. A bit more expensive than the local grocery stores, but a wider selection, including bacon and several kinds of sausage, mostly homemade. Be sure to check out the freezer; it's got a lot more than what they have laid out fresh. The guy (Tony?) once gave me and my roommate an enormous discount on a brisket (on the order of 20%), presumably because he was amused by the thought of what two 19-year-old hooligans were going to do with an entire brisket the size of an ancient Windows laptop (we braised it, and it was the best brisket I've ever had). Give these people as much business as your diet will allow.
