The Radisson is lovely - the room we got had a view of both the skating rink and the road.. and as requested, we were able to get a room on the 7th floor.
The room was actually a business suite I thnk.. at least from the photos I saw on the website. The room seemed to be separated into sections - with the bed on one side, then separated by a fireplace / table where the TV was on top of the fireplace... and a lounge chair on the other side.
A little disconnected, but unique in it's own way. What was even more peculiar was the TELESCOPE! It was so funny - reminded me of the Simpsons episode when Homer is looking in his telescope and sees another man starring back at him doing the same thing!!!!!
I love white sheets! and the bed was adjustable in firmness - on BOTH SIDES! The bathroom was fancy with towels hanging on a ladder, yes I said I ladder! There is bath tub, and a clear glass shower - straight old school showerhead - very cool.
I forgot toothpaste and was so relived that the hotel had extra travel case ones. Only minor distraction is that you hear the electrical TTCs from time to time. Aside from that, I found it odd that room service came by at 6pm at night.. not quite sure, but I'm not going to dwell on it.
There is a nice walking trail with lights where you can see all the boats, and in the winters be able to go to the Queens Quay skating rink before hitting some nice restaurants. 3.75*
