  • So the first time, I really loved this place. The second time.... I have fallen out of love. The noodles (esp the shaved noodles) are still great, but the portions are smaller and the quality has just gone down. On our latest trip, the husband decided to venture from our norms\ and ordered the lemon beef noodles - which was really really.... interesting. Not terrible, just interesting. The beef is the cold sliced beef you get on those appetizer plates, and is bathed in a sweet-lemony sauce. It was alright. The saving grace was the shaved noodles we got. I basically ate this dish because I love the noodles. We also ordered the combo seafood noodles with the thick round noodles. I think it was composed of maybe 4 super looooooong noodles and couple teeny pieces of shrimp, 3 miniscule baby scallops, and a couple slivers of octopus/squid. and a whole lotta celery and cabbage. The best thing we ordered was the blistered long beans. Sigh. I might be back IF I'm in the area and IF I'm craving some shaved noodles, but aside from that, I wouldn't make a special trip to dine here.
