  • I have always loved the home store if not the location. Even a fresh coat of paint on the exterior hasn't helped that! This visit I was on a mission to find some very expensive cookware I have been jonesing over for quite some time. I was hoping for half off plus the 30% coupon I have. Still expensive but at least not as painful. Sadly, they weren't half off and the stock was very limited. They did not even have the one chefs pan I was searching for. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly but overal the store seems to be experiencing the same thing you see in many retail stores... far less items in stock. It was looking significantly more sparse than my last visit although they cleverly merchandised to cover this. Sad, because Macys can have bargains if you have a credit card there and know how to shop so it's always been my "go-to" store for clearance racks, doubling up on discounts and general binge shopping.
