| - I got married at Secret Garden almost two years ago and forgot to leave a review, wish I had when the experience was fresh in my mind sorry guys! I chose the elopement package and added an additional hour. I never thought I could afford a wedding at somewhere like Secret Garden but created what I wanted aesthetically and time wise by extending the reasonably priced elopement package. The staff worked very hard, meticulously making sure the timing and food were done to fit the time frame and look the best, something I probably would have messed up. Running around finding umbrellas and scissors, being supportive like a friend. The carriage house and carob tree create a a much more eloquent and charming atmosphere than you think at the price, you can afford a gorgeous wedding at a place like this! (Just consider extending the time on the elopement package, which is a very reasonable fee, and you'll get that fancy wedding you thought you couldn't afford!) We thought we could only afford getting married at a public park or something, not get the assistance and beauty of a place like this. The only complaint was that I didn't find Creative Hands Cuisine a great choice, but it was my choice to use them I didn't have to it just seemed simpler. You can use someone else. I found the caterer a little condescending and felt like I was under a lot of pressure and judgement, felt they didn't deserve the high prices they were charging. That is not Secret Gardens fault at all though let me be clear on that! I highly recommend Secret Garden, especially the elopement package. Lovely staff and beautiful setting. I want to thank the staff of this wonderful venue for accepting my somewhat unconventional wedding, stresses and needs like I was a big budget customer with a glamorous wedding. They really care about you and your wedding, they love their jobs and are committed to making you wedding perfect. Thanks so much Secret Garden staff!!
