  • No two ways about it, this is a classic old style diner. It has been in existance since 1951. I went on a Fri morning and they were crowded but I was able to get a seat at the counter. I was told that it would have been much busier on a sat or sun. There was some disagreement between two waitresses as who would take my order. A few sharp words were spoken between them. First thing, the menu is a novel. It takes too long to read it. Places that concentrate on making a few items generally do a better job at it. I didn't have to wait too long for my breakfast. I ordered eggs benedict with a side of corned beef hash browns. The eggs were cooked perfectly but the sauce was not a hollandaise and had no lemon flavor at all. That detracted from the flavor. One thing to know ahead of time is that they only take cash. No credit cards. Apparently this is somewhat common in the Strip from what I was told.
