  • We needed an emergency appointment for our cat who came home with an eye almost gone, all red, bloody, and closed. Dr. Smith took such a good care of him! And not only her - the whole staff at University Animal Hospital. We had 4 or 5 appointments in 2 weeks, some paid, some not (follow-ups). Dr. Smith kept calling at home to check on him - I was really impressed. Coming from Scottsdale, where we had to pay even for the air the pet breathes in the vet's office, the financial part was an extremely pleasant surprise. Two weeks later, the cat was good, three weeks later it was like nothing ever happened. We will come back for routine visits and will highly recommend the Hospital.
