I've visited Bachi Burger sporadically for a few years now and have highly enjoyed their burgers, oxtail fries, and ramen (after meshing with Shoku Ramen). I recently dined at the restaurant and was disappointed to find that Bachi Burger no longer lived up to its glory.
Besides the fact that our burgers came out more rare than what we ordered (medium) the service/wait was what let us down. Hard to enjoy your dining experience when your table seems non existent to the servers. It was a Friday night and they did seem busy/short staffed (I spotted about 3 servers or so) but when it takes over 15 minutes for someone to come by your table after being seated then 35+ minutes for your burgers to come out (basically raw so I'm not sure why the wait was so long - we were so hungry we ate the edible edges) it can really cause a damper on your meal. The taste was still what I remembered (great flavor) and the servers still friendly - just incredibly busy and not as attentive as we'd like.
My experience wasn't worth the wait for our food and drinks. Just because I know how wonderful they once were and can be I'm still hopeful for Bachi Burger. Maybe they'll staff heavier in the future and if I ever return, I should definitely choose to on a slower weekday afternoon.
