  • The employee was outside when we arrived but quickly followed us in to serve us. As we were deciding what to order someone came in to say goodbye to the employee and they shook hands. We ordered our food. We noticed the employee DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS. He put on gloves made our sandwich and while it was on the grill he rang us out. (In the middle of him making the sandwich I asked him to cut it in half. He said yes and winked at me... Not into it, there's no need to wink.... ) Still wearing the gloves he touched the money and cash register. Went back to our sandwich STILL WEARING THE SAME GLOVES & turned over our sandwich on the grill... Disgusting. I wanted to return it but I felt shy to because I didn't want to embarrass him. I will not return because of hygiene/health and safety reasons. The tables were not clean either, rice on one, grease on another. The fattoush salad chips were on the counter behind the receipt printer. Hopefully he doesn't put it back into the basket to serve. We were the only ones in there at the time & after serving us he sat down instead of tidying up.
