  • Heralded as Calgary's "original" pub -- whatever that means, the Unicorn is a good place to snag a beer or a bite. We had breakfast there on a calm Saturday morning and everything seemed right. A few guys with hangovers were watching the soccer game and sipping on lager and others still were on dates. The food was average, but there is a cool atmosphere to the place. It's in a basement with a lot of wood and big tvs playing any sport you're after. I'll go back again, but I am still perplexed by the "original" pub thing....
