  • Stopped by this local cafĂ© & shop for the first time last Sunday with my friend Monica O. and I think she has been holding out on me! This place is a fabulous, family owned one stop shop for good food and local goodies! The store is filled with everything local from wine, coffee, tea, spices, jellies, salsas and my favorite fun find of the day nut sacks...yes you read that correctly(see my pic) They come in a variety of sizes and flavors and who doesn't love a sense of humor... I am getting them for gifts, sure beats lumps of coal! We shared a platter of cheese, fruit and meat served up with some honey mustard and bites of bruschetta bread, it was a great balance and flavor filled lunch. We chose some of our own items and had them throw in a few of their favorites. I loved the spice and flavor of the habanero cheese, the blueberry goat cheese with the prosciutto was a perfect combination and the Pichuberries from Columbia were a sweet surprise. The blueberry tea was so good and I don't even like tea! They had live music outside on a spacious patio and game tables upstairs. I can't wait to come back for a Nooner....I hear they're amazing with so many combinations of sandwiches to try you could have one every day of the week! I mean who doesn't want a Hot One or a Banger for lunch! This is the perfect place to stop, shop and eat local, I can't wait to come back for more!
