  • I hired Fuller on the premise that she had 11 years experience and sounded like she knew what she was doing. She gave me the initial impression that issues i have had she had dealt with before. My hearing was postponed by Fuller for a week due to her failure to realize she already had a court date for my scheduled hearing. On the day of the first hearing, she showed up 10 minutes late and claimed she had "just received" the oppositions counter motion. I found this curious as it was already hole punched and in her work binder. She began to go over the motions in front of the court room and was 3 pages in when we were called into the court room. During the hearing she was unprepared and seemed to be using talking points from our first consultation. None of which she could back up with actual wording from the court order, which she had had for a good part of a month. Several false claims were made against me by opposition and instead of rebutting the accusations, she instead went with "this is an issue shared by both parties", which completely floored me. She just admitted that i did something i had not done because she was unprepared. Prior to the hearing, she adamantly stated that it would "take an act of God" for the judge to change an established court orders custody schedule prior to an actual trial. At the end of the hearing, which lasted under an hour, the judge negated my original court order and changed it to a 50/50, completely disregarding the best interest of my child and the fact that we had brought serious concerns regarding my childs safety and well being. When I finally got my "temp order", Fuller had signed it without allowing me to first review it or even take a look at it, which could have easily been done with an email. The "temp order" ended up containing multiple provisions that were NEVER ruled on in court. When i brought this to the attention of Fuller, she claimed everything in the order was ruled on. This forced me to go back to the court house and request a copy of the hearings video. I watched it 5 times to make sure I had all the facts, and sure enough none of the things I had brought to Fullers atention was ever ruled on in court. Since Fuller signed it, it was now a part of the order. This included losing time with my daughter, extra weeks allowed for my ex but denied to me, daily phone calls while I was at work which made it impossible for me to do thereby setting me up for failure and changing the 60 day move notification to JUST 2 DAYS!! Fuller was contacted several times to voice my displeasure with these events to which she claimed there was no error and that she was under "no obligation" to allow me to view any order prior to her signing. She then threatened to leave me lawyerless because she did not appreciate my "tone." After all was said and done she was able to accomplish one thing of benefit to her, I have to pay her an additional $1000 for the lack of ethical work she claims she has done. She is hardly worth a free consultation let alone hiring. She is unethical, uncaring, unprepared, unmotivated and lacks the proper skill set to be of any help to anyone who needs it. I would strongly advise against hiring this woman. When a client has to spend his own money to prove to his lawyer that she was wrong and then have to pay the lawyer more money for HER FAILURES, there is definitely an issue. When other lawyers were consulted after I terminated her and shown the video, emails and the order, they strongly advised me to file a complaint against her. I filed a bar complaint and submitted all emails, court documents and the video. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
