  • Meat? Unlimited you say? Brb making a reservation now.. This was my second visit at Texas de Brazil. I could write a run down of all the meats I tried but that'd be a bit overboard. It was super busy on the Friday night I visited, on top of that it was also Restaurant Week ($35, regularly $45). FOOD: Ugh so delicious. Salad/sides bar was solid too. I always stock up on the asparagus and some greens to make me feel better about eating a village's worth of beef. Filet mignon and top sirloins were solid. I'd like to say that the BBQ brisket was not so great and the sauce was overpoweringly sweet (I'm a Kansas City girl, I just couldn't say no to trying BBQ in the Burgh). After awhile even though the flavor is good, you get sick of eating beef after two hours (yes we sat there for almost two hours, oops). Had to pass on dessert as I was slowly slipping into a food coma in my seat. My first visit I did get creme brûlée, and it tasted awfully "egg-y", not representative of a good creme brulee :(. SERVICE: At first, it was slow as the beef took awhile to come out as I sat there with my little indicator on green impatiently waiting to feed my red meat addiction. They would come out with sausages or chicken, but my eyes and heart were set on some top sirloin and filet mignons. We were seated in a spot where they would usually come to us first out of the kitchen, and while you might think that's a great thing, my boyfriend commented on how we got the kind of burnt/too crispy outsides of meat. I smell like beef..
