Real friendly bunch of people to talk with about buying a car. Not sure about what happens when the money changes hands but the greetings and introductions bit went really well. Really.
Pulled in right about closing time and felt like a salmon heading upstream against the out-flow of peoples. Poked my head in the showroom and saw a some folks sitting around wrapping up business. The receptionist got a salesperson for me and we went out to eyeball an Explorer. Looked OK, sounded OK, even felt OK, but since it was already way past closing and still early in my hunt for a new old ride I didn't take it for a drive.
Got to chatting with one of the managers - a big happy guy - about the great lakes and salt damage and baseball and I was feeling pretty good about life right then, not a care in the world.
...but that was him selling me the dealership, not a car.
