  • STAY AWAY from Dr. Wachs!! Here's just one of my stories. Went to her on the suggestion of a friend. Very nice woman I thought. She took blood,etc., and sent me to get a mammogram. 3 weeks later her office leaves a message on my cell phone, then 5 minutes later I get a call from my mom totally freaking out because the Drs office called my mom saying they couldn't get in touch with me and had to talk to me about my mammogram! They called my emergency contact after 5 minutes!! I call them back the same day, had to leave a message. Didn't hear from them, so I call again and again and when they finally call me back after 5 days, they ask that I come in immediately to discuss my mammogram. Now I'm totally freaked out. I get there and Dr. Wachs says, oh I just want you to get an ultrasound - insurance won't cover it unless we say something's wrong and just smiled and gave me a few more referrals for an ultrasound and mri. By the way, I went to another doctor, Dr. Kramer who is an amazing doctor and he called the lab and had my mammogram sent over. Nothing showed up on the mammogram and he said it was as good as it gets. He couldn't believe what she put me through. Dr Wachs cares nothing about her patients, only about getting $$$. i will never give her another dime and I hope no one else does either. She should stick to her radio show and not practice medicine.
