I'm not quite sure how I feel about my experience here at Saint Laurent. It wasn't a bad one....but it wasn't all that great either. It was certainly no Louis Vuitton, Chanel or even Bottega Veneta.
Located on the second level, next to Prada, this was my choice of store for my Christmas present this year from my boyfriend. We came on a Sunday early afternoon and we were the only ones in the store. I quickly scanned the place and there was one security guard and three sales associates. I already knew what I wanted so I headed straight for my purse/wallet-on-chain. A sales associate approached me and suggested a few ideas on how I can wear it in different ways/style. She was there....but not really there if that makes sense. She was friendly though and I'm glad she didn't have a snotty attitude. When I told her this is the one I want, she went to grab my item from their back room. Boyfriend went to pay while she wrapped my wallet-on-chain nicely and boxed it up.
I don't think I'm spoiled from other luxury brands but this felt like a ho-hum experience. It was literally enter the store, buy what you want, and exit. I guess we didn't look like we needed a drink either (Pellegrino water) because they never even bothered to offer. And we weren't dressed like running an errand to Target.
