I had high lights done and a cut done by MIchelle. She was friendly enough but made it clear she was hung over and in a hurry. Maybe I should have got up and left at that point but I had gotten a babysitter for the occasion and hind sight is 20/20. She asked me what I wanted but it was obvious she wasn't listening. She looked at the pictures of the color and cut I brought in very briefly and only once at the beginning. About half way through the foiling (on the top part of my head) she stopped weaving the hair into the foil and began brushing the whole chunk of hair. She was very rushed at this point. The bottom half of my hair is acceptable but the top looks like bronze skunk stripes. I used to wear pony tails a lot and now I can't pull back my bangs now because of the HUGE line across my hair. I was under the dryer for 20 minutes (timer was set) before she started pulling foils, without checking whether the color took or not...it had not. It came out very brassy (which I was very specific I did not want). She cut my hair in 6 minutes. 6 MINUTES! And when I asked her to blend one side of my bangs a little she sniped a couple hairs and sprayed me and took the cape off. My bangs were sticking out to the side! At that point I knew she wasn't concerned about retaining me as a customer or my satisfaction as she had somewhere to be.
I will never go back. The only sound advice I was able to use was the purchase of some purple shampoo (from amazon). It has taken some of the brassy out but it is still the worst experience I have ever had getting my hair done. Over all, she was very unprofessional, the salon was dirty, one stylist spent an hour putting on makeup in her booth and another one was dyeing her own hair.
